Donald J. Christie received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Stonehill College in North Easton, Massachusetts where he was elected to Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities. He received his Master in Business Administration from Fordham University in New York City, New York. Additionally, Mr. Christie served two years in the United States Army and has been the recipient of the Orange County Vocational Association's Outstanding Business and Industry Leader Award.
Mr. Christie's accounting and business experience includes Owner/Distributor of Safeguard Business Accounting Systems, eight years as a Tax Specialist with the Internal Revenue Service, holds a Series 6 and Life, Health and Annuities Licenses along with a mortgage broker's license. He is an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service.
As a recipient of the Justice and Peace Grant from the Congregation of Holy Cross, Mr. Christie is able to provide free or low cost services to many low income or disabled individuals. Mr. Christie is dedicated to providing affordable tax and business services to the community.

Karen S. Christie has worked part-time with American Tax & Business Shoppe, LLC since its inception and full-time since January 2011. Mrs. Christie received a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Florida and spent most of her career working with people with Developmental Disabilities.
Mrs. Christie's primary responsibility is as Office Manager, but also serves a Notary Public, and handles our tax preparation program for former International Disney Cast Members.
